The ethylene glycol production process is complex, and the energy cascade utilization is difficult, especially the low-temperature condensate generated in the co-production LNG (liquefied natural gas) link, which contains huge cold energy and pressure energy, but traditional technology is difficult to recover efficiently. As a large-scale modern coal chemical demonstration project, the Meijin Huasheng project puts forward extremely high requirements for the stability and efficiency of energy-saving devices.
The China Airlines Shengshi team innovatively applied aviation-grade centripetal turbine organic Rankine cycle (ORC) technology for the unique working conditions of coal chemical industry.
