In April 2020, Beijing Huahang Shengshi Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Airlines Shengshi") and Shandong Alliance Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Alliance Chemical") officially signed a contract for waste heat power generation projects. The core highlight of the project is that its installed capacity of a single unit has successfully exceeded 2,000KW, which not only sets a new project record for China Airlines Shengshi, but also marks a milestone leap in the company's research and development and application of large-scale waste heat power generation equipment, setting a new benchmark for the scale of a single unit in the industry.
For a long time, due to factors such as fluctuations in low-temperature heat source parameters and expander efficiency, it is often difficult to increase the single capacity of organic Rankine cycle (ORC) waste heat power generation projects. The Shandong Alliance Chemical Project signed this time challenges this industry bottleneck. Relying on the core technology of aviation turbines from Beihang University, the technical team of China Airlines Shengshi successfully pushed the power of a single machine to more than 2000KW by optimizing the thermal circulation system, improving the design of high-efficiency centripetal turbines and improving system integration. This breakthrough means that the power generation efficiency and economic return of the project will be significantly improved under the same footprint and operation and maintenance costs, opening up a new path for the large-scale intensive utilization of low-grade thermal energy.
Shandong Union Work is a well-known chemical enterprise in Shandong Province, with rich waste heat resources at medium and low temperatures in the production process. How to eat and squeeze these "waste heat" and convert them into "green electricity" for enterprise development is the original intention of the cooperation between the two sides. China Airlines Shengshi has tailored ultra-large-capacity waste heat power generation solutions for the specific working conditions of the alliance chemical. After the completion of the project, it is expected to provide stable clean electricity for the factory, greatly reduce the dependence on purchased electricity, significantly reduce carbon emissions, and help enterprises build green cost advantages in the fierce market competition.
