■ Project Overview
The Zhuhai China Resources Chemical Esterification Steam Low-Temperature Waste Heat Power Generation Project is mainly used for the recovery of waste heat from esterification steam produced by polyester units. The esterification steam (mixed steam) produced by the 2 sets of polyester projects has a design absolute pressure of 110KPa and a temperature of about 100.3°C. When the production output is at 100%, the mixed steam flow is 15.7t/h (95% moisture, 5% other chemical substances). The atmospheric esterification steam directly enters the radial ORC unit for power generation, and the design operating condition condensate temperature drops from 100.3°C to 78°C.


■ Project Achievements
The total installed power is nearly 2.2MW, with a design power generation of 1840kW. Now that the ORC equipment is running, it has reduced the operating power consumption of the air cooler by 360KW/H. It is the largest radial ORC low-temperature waste heat power generation system for similar devices in China, and received high praise from more than 200 experts and users at the provincial energy-saving demonstration conference organized by the Guangdong Provincial Energy Conservation Center in 2020!
