At the annual summit, Sun Xiaoliang, executive deputy director and secretary general of EMCA, made the "2018 Energy Conservation Service Industry Annual Report" to the conference. He mentioned that in 2018, there were 6,439 enterprises engaged in energy-saving services across the country, an increase of 4.9% year-on-year; The number of employees in the industry was 729,000, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%, and the energy-saving service industry, as a sunrise industry, attracted many investors and practitioners.
According to reports, in 2018, the energy-saving service industry continued to maintain stable development, the total output value of the energy-saving service industry was 477.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%, and the energy-saving service industry is still a positive factor driving national economic growth, and also plays a pillar role in strategic emerging industries. The contract energy management investment was 117.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, resulting in an annual energy-saving capacity of 39.3 million tons of standard coal and an annual reduction of 106.51 million tons of carbon dioxide. It shows that the investment confidence of energy-saving service companies has picked up.
