It is invested and operated by Wuxi Guolian Green Technology Co., Ltd. under the EMC (Energy Management Contract) model, with core equipment provided by Beijing Huahang Shengsheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Through this strong alliance, the three parties have successfully joined forces to create a benchmark case for cascade utilization of waste heat in the coal chemical industry!

The Shaanxi Petrochemical Science and Technology Award is a highly authoritative and influential scientific honor in the province's petrochemical sector. It aims to recognize innovative achievements that deliver technological breakthroughs and generate significant economic and social benefits in fields such as petrochemicals and coal chemicals.
This award-winning project targets common industry pain points in coal-to-ethylene glycol (MEG) plants: high energy consumption in the distillation section and low utilization rates of by-product steam. To solve this, the project innovatively adopts cascade recovery and utilization technology for waste heat boiler exhaust steam. By precisely matching the energy grade of the low-pressure by-product steam from the de-alcohol tower's waste heat boiler, it achieves highly efficient cascade energy utilization.
Here are the core highlights of the project:
★ High Energy Efficiency: The system effectively reduces the consumption of steam and circulating water in the MEG distillation process. It saves approximately 400,000 tons of 0.5MPa low-pressure steam and about 10.1 million cubic meters of circulating water annually, delivering remarkable energy-saving benefits.
★ Carbon Reduction & Increased Efficiency: Turning waste into wealth through the resource recovery of waste heat, this project actively facilitates the green and low-carbon transformation of coal chemical facilities, perfectly aligning with China's "Dual Carbon" strategic goals.
★ Industry Benchmark: It provides a replicable and scalable technical paradigm for waste heat recovery and system optimization in large-scale MEG plants.
