Huahang Shengshi won the 2021 "Carbon Neutrality Actor" Climate Response Award

On September 22, the 2021 Climate Action Week Zero Carbon Mission International Climate Summit was held in Beijing, and the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference will be held in Glasgow, England in November, and this summit can be said to be the highest-end large-scale event in China in response to the United Nations General Assembly. The summit was hosted by Phoenix Satellite TV and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and co-sponsored by Phoenix.com, Phoenix Metropolis Media, Beijing Entrepreneur Environmental Protection Foundation, Avenue Climate Change Promotion Center, and Public Environment Research Center. The summit focused on topics such as global carbon neutrality, corporate climate ambition, energy transition, green buildings, and low-carbon transportation, exploring the paths and practices of various stakeholders to participate in achieving the dual carbon goals.


China Airlines Shengshi is honored to participate in this event as a winner of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Climate Activist Program. In March this year, WWF organized a solicitation activity for advanced technologies for the Climate Pioneer Project, and selected from four dimensions: low-carbon innovative enterprises, enterprise scale and development stage, technology category, and technology evaluation. Climate Innovation Award".

The review experts agreed that China Airlines Shengshi's "Centripetal Turbine Medium and Low Grade Residual Energy Organic Rankine Cycle Generation" directly converts waste heat into high-quality electrical energy, which is more flexible in energy use and far better than traditional low-temperature waste heat refrigeration and heating technology. Compared with traditional axial turbines and screw expanders, centripetal turbines have an internationally advanced isoentropic efficiency of up to 83-90%, and the uniquely designed double-shaft seal ensures zero leakage of the system, simple and convenient maintenance, and ensures the long-term efficient and stable operation of the unit. This technology is suitable for power generation from medium and low temperature heat sources greater than 80°C, and in the process transformation of existing projects and the construction of new projects, waste heat power generation is used to replace the original cooling process system to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction. In addition to high-energy-consuming industrial enterprises (such as petrochemical, coal chemical, steel, cement, textile, glass and other enterprises), it can also be widely used in geothermal, solar thermal and biomass power generation, LNG cold energy power generation and other fields. By 2035, if this technology is effectively applied to the world's energy-intensive industries and geothermal power generation, China alone can achieve 45 million tons of carbon dioxide/year emission reduction capacity and reduce industrial waste heat emissions by 10-15%.
