Sinopec's first long-term operation and the first geothermal power generation project in Shaanxi were commissioned in August, and the power generation was successfully connected to the grid at one start-up, and recently passed the long-term stable operation acceptance.
The project is invested and constructed by Sinopec Luyuan Geothermal Energy (Shaanxi) Development Co., Ltd., using the centripetal ORC low-temperature waste heat power generation technology of Beijing Huahang Shengshi Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and selecting hot water from the Xianyang Gem Jiayuan geothermal heating and irrigation well group for power generation. The hot water after power generation enters the heating pipe network again for heating, and the valuable geothermal resources are efficiently utilized.
The project has a designed installed capacity of 300KW and is expected to generate 700,000 kWh of net power per year. The success of the project is a solid step to actively explore the technology of geothermal "heat-electricity-helium" triple production, and will contribute to the promotion of the in-depth comprehensive utilization of geothermal resources.
